Sri Gangi Kunta Rangappa  was the founder of our business in the year 1931. He started in humble way as Simple Weaver his son Gangi Kunta Thirumal Dass emerged as prominent Master Weaver in 1947. Subsequently the Third Generation Sri Gangi Kunta Ranganayakulu established a own handloom production center in the year 1975. He invented his own techniques and produced very high quality of silk sarees.

              Now Fourth Generation Entrepreneur Mr. Sridhar Babu and Krishor Babu has taken over the lead. Under there leadership M/s Sri Rukmini Silks has become the most popular and recognized for latest designs and vibrant  colors. Presently we have more then 2000 handlooms and are producing latest styles in pure silk zari sarees.
